NRC- Neighborhood Recruitment Council

The Neighborhood Recruitment Council (NRC) is a great way to get involved in IUDM in addition to being a dancer. This group is for those who want to go the extra mile as the connection between students living in neighborhoods and IUDM.

Members of NRC are responsible for helping recruit non greek students to be dancers, relaying information to other dancers in their neighborhoods, and making sure everyone involved is well-informed about IUDM events and is given ideas about how to reach their fundraising goals. Those who become part of NRC will be expected to attend a mandatory retreat April 1, 2012 and will attend weekly NRC meetings with their mentors from the IUDM Recruitment committee. This group has a bit more responsibility as they take on being a dancer and council member, but the rewards are tremendous! It is not necessary that you’ve had any prior experience as a dancer or committee member to be a part of NRC.

Indicate if you would like to become a leader in the representative council for recruitment, fundraising or morale!

Members selected for the Neighborhood Recruitment Council will be required to attend an informational retreat on April 1st, 2012 from 11am- 3pm. Weekly meetings will begin on Sunday evenings (time TBA) following the retreat and leading up to the marathon on October 26, 2012. Members will have the opportunity to participate as dancers in the marathon as well as recruit those individuals living in or around their neighborhood.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact me!  You can make a difference! FOR THE KIDS!
