NRC- Neighborhood Recruitment Council
The Neighborhood Recruitment Council (NRC) is a great way to get involved in IUDM in addition to being a dancer. This group is for those who want to go the extra mile as the connection between students living in neighborhoods and IUDM.
Members of NRC are responsible for helping recruit non greek students to be dancers, relaying information to other dancers in their neighborhoods, and making sure everyone involved is well-informed about IUDM events and is given ideas about how to reach their fundraising goals. Those who become part of NRC will be expected to attend a mandatory retreat March 26, 2011 and will attend weekly NRC meetings with their mentors from the IUDM Recruitment committee. This group has a bit more responsibility as they take on being a dancer and council member, but the rewards are tremendous! It is not necessary that you’ve had any prior experience as a dancer or committee member to be a part of NRC.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact me! You can make a difference! FOR THE KIDS!
